About UPI Payments
The Unified Payments Interface (UPI) is a real-time payment system developed by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) and regulated by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). It enables instant bank-to-bank transfers 24/7 using a simple virtual payment address (VPA) — your UPI ID.
UPI QR codes encode this payment address following the standard UPI deep-link format (upi://pay?pa=...). When a user scans the code with any compatible app, it pre-fills the recipient details — making the transaction fast, accurate, and error-free.
UPIQR.online generates QR codes that fully comply with the NPCI UPI QR standard, ensuring compatibility with all certified payment applications in India.
